Safety Instructions – How to Use the Inflatable Assault Course
To ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience, please follow these important safety rules.
- Adult supervision is required at all times. A responsible adult must supervise the inflatable throughout use and ensure all safety instructions are followed.
- Follow the correct direction. Enter the assault course through the designated entrance, work your way through the obstacles and exit using the slide at the end. Never travel backwards through the course.
- Take turns and avoid overcrowding. Only allow the recommended number of participants on the inflatable at any one time, following the operator’s instructions and the manufacturer’s capacity limits.
- Group children by age and size. Participants should be of similar age, height and ability to reduce the risk of collisions or injury.
- Remove shoes and sharp objects. Shoes, jewellery, glasses where practical, badges and anything sharp must be removed before entering. Empty pockets and avoid loose items.
- No food, drinks or chewing gum. These are strictly prohibited on the inflatable.
- No rough play. Pushing, wrestling, fighting, somersaults, flips and deliberate bouncing into other participants are not permitted.
- Use the slide safely. Always slide feet first, seated or lying on your back, with your feet pointing down the slide. Never slide headfirst, jump from the top or climb back up the slide. Move away from the landing area immediately.
- Do not climb the walls or mesh sides. The inflatable walls, netting and shower cover are safety features and must not be climbed, pulled or hung from.
- Keep entrances and exits clear. Never block the entrance, obstacles or slide landing area.
- Follow weather restrictions. The shower cover offers protection from light showers but does not make the inflatable suitable for all weather conditions. Stop use during strong winds, heavy rain, thunderstorms or other unsafe conditions, following the operator’s safety guidance.
- Stop immediately if the inflatable loses pressure. If the blower stops, the inflatable begins to deflate or any damage occurs, all participants must exit safely and the equipment must not be used until checked.
- Follow the displayed height and age restrictions. All users must meet the manufacturer’s requirements, and the maximum permitted number of participants must never be exceeded.
Important: The inflatable must be correctly installed, securely anchored and operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable safety guidance.
